Frequently Asked Questions

General Guest Information

When and where is the wedding?

Our wedding is taking place at The Boulders at Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park, CO on Thursday, June 18th, 2026. The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30pm with cocktail hour and reception to follow.

What is the dress code?

Our wedding will be held mostly indoors at The Boulders at Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park—a beautiful mountain venue with a cozy, upscale vibe. The dress code is "mountain formal"—think elegant and refined with a rustic touch. A step up from cocktail, but not quite black tie. Patterns and colors that complement the natural landscape.

For women: Dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy skirts and tops are perfect. Feel free to wear heels or dressy flats—no need to worry about uneven ground!

For men: A suit or sport coat with dress pants works great. Ties are optional but always welcome.

While the venue is indoors with a large patio, mountain weather can be unpredictable—so we recommend bringing a jacket or wrap just in case!

What is the weather typically like this time of year?

June in Estes Park offers gorgeous mountain weather, with daytime highs averaging in the 70s°F and cooler evenings dropping into the 40s°F. Due to the higher elevation, it’s a good idea to dress in layers, as temperatures can change quickly.
